Inauguration & Blessing of Our New Degree College
The St. Francis College, a degree college at Koramangala 3rd Block opened its doors to students to venture out into the Bachelor's program in the areas of Science, Arts and Commence. Aviation and Interior Design are the other courses offered by the College. Founding Vice- Chancellor of the new Bengaluru Central University Professor S. Japhet graced the ocassion.

Orientation Program
On July 13, 2019 the much awaited orientation program of the first batch of students from St. Francis College was organised. Mr. Devesh Agarwal, President of the Bangalore Chamber of Industry and Commerce inaugurated the orientation and encourages students to venture out into newer career paths. It was wonderful to see parents, students, the teaching and non-teaching faculty and other well wishers come together to commemorate this special day.

Exploring Newer Horizons

Corporate Etiquette Training
Industry leaders came together to impart knowledge, experience and skills on Corporate Etiquette. This helps our students immensely as they prepare themselves to enter the Corporate World. It also gives them great insights when learning as they now know how the knowledge they gain can be implemented in the industry today!

Visit to Aditya Birla
The only source of knowledge is experience. The Students of BBA department went on an industrial visit to Aditya Birla to learn about the retail industry and how the supply chain and logistical framework sets the company as a forerunner in the industry.

Visit to Salem Airport
To obtain insights about the airport functions, the emergency operations and traffic control, the students of BBA Aviation visited the Salem Airport. They had a first-hand experience of the airport procedures and functioning. It was a truly insightful experience for the studentsas they gained in-depth knowledge which will be valuable in their careers.

Karnataka Rajyotsava
It was wonderful to see our teachers and students participate in the Karnataka Rajyotsava function held at the St. Francis P.U College on the 1st of November 2019. This much awaited day is celebrated across the world by Kannadigas. The day also sees the annual presentation of the Rajyotsava Awards by the Government of Karnataka. The day is marked by community festivals, concerts and a host of other events. It also sees the chanting of Jaya Bharatha Jananiya Tanujate, which is the Kannada anthem.

Winners all the way
The students of St. Francis College exhibited an outstanding performance at the Swami Vivekananda College. Their captivating dance performance won them the first prize in the Inter-Collegiate dance competition. As a College, the holistic development of our students is of utmost importance and we look forward to participating in plentiful activities in the near future.

Kannada Club
The Kannada Club of St. Francis College launched “Chinnudi Kannada Sangha” this programme was chaired and inaugurated by Reverend Bro. Sayimon, Director and Provincial. Bro. Peter, Assistant Director and Ms. Sameera Fernandes, Dean of Academics were the chief guest. The program started with prayer from Teja Narayan and team along with Hachhevu kannadadha deepa and ended by vandhe matharam. Dr. Jagadeesh Babu B.V, HOD Kannada welcomed the honourble chairperson and the chief guests with welcome speech. Oath ceremony for ‘Chinnudi’ Kannada Sangha was honoured by Ms. Sameera Fermandes where the members of the sangha took to the oath.

Celebrating the Harvest Festival
If you wish to travel to Kerala to enjoy the fun and frolic of an Indian festival, then the best option would be the time of Onam. The interesting rituals associated with the festival contribute to making the celebrations of Onam a fascinating one.

Onam is the most popular festival in Kerala and is celebrated with great pomp and show. It is believed to be the National festival of Kerala. Onam is celebrated each year in the month of August-September which according to the Malayalam calendar is the first month of the year called Chingam. The festivities of the Onam last for ten days in which old and young participate with equal enthusiasm.
